Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed shooter arcade game where players must defend against a variety of creepy-crawly foes like centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas using their bugblaster. The objective is to stay alive for as long as possible in the midst of this thrilling game. The bugblaster unleashes small darts to take down the multi-segmented centipede, which typically comprises 10 to 12 body parts, including its head. Whenever a segment of the centipede is hit, it transforms into a mushroom. It’s vital to aim for the head to eliminate the entire centipede as each part continues its descent towards the player independently. To play, simply use either the keyboard or mouse to maneuver the blaster and fire at the centipede.
